Annie Mist Thorisdottir is a CrossFit professional athlete from Reykjavik Iceland. She also trains and coaches in Crossfit Reykjavik, where she is the co-owner. Annie is the first woman to have ever won the two CrossFit Games. She was second at the CrossFit Games in 2010 and in 2014. Annie Thorisdottir is an Icelanders weightlifter CrossFit champion, and a popular media figure. The media acclaim she earned came from her becoming the first female to win won two CrossFit Games, in 2011 and 2012 Other accomplishments includes winning the Dubai Fitness competitions in 2013 and 2013. Annie and her parents as well as her siblings, were born and grew up in Reykjavik Iceland. Since a young child she was a sports and fitness fanatic. In 2009 she first participated in the CrossFit competitions in California in which she did well in initial games. Annie Thorisdottir as of 2021, is age 31. She's 5'7 tall and her weight is approximately 67 kg. Annie began her CrossFit training in the year 2009 in California. She was able to perform very well in the initial matches. She finished amongst top 10 of over 70. However, she didn't win an award and ended the competition in 11th position. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. Under the coaching of Jami Tikkanen, Annie placed second in CrossFit Games and was awarded an award of Silver that year. In the following year she again participated in the CrossFit games and because of her impressive performance, she took home the games and became the first female to win CrossFit Games. Annie, who had an impressive 2012 CrossFit Games performance, became the first woman in history to win each of the CrossFit Games. In 2014, Annie won a Silver Medal and, most recently, in 2021 she was awarded Bronze at the CrossFit Games. Annie is a coach and trainer for Crossfit Reykjavik. It was her concept. Annie's rising popularity as an athlete has made her the face of many brands in sports, like Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Rennaisance Nuunhydration and Periodization Sidekicks Yerb. In addition, she has her own Youtube channel called "Annie", with over a thousand subscribers. This is the channel where she posts videos on eating habits, parenting as well as travel.
